I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
